The Golden Hawks traveled to Tipton to compete in the River Valley South Volleyball Tournament on Oct. 14.
Mid-Prairie defeated West Liberty 2-1 (25-22, 21-25, 15-11) in the semifinals and Wilton 2-1 (29-31, 25-20, 15-13) in the finals.
Their success won the school’s first-ever River Valley South Conference Tournament title in volleyball.
Now, Mid-Prairie will go after an overall River Valley Conference Tournament title in an eight-team field at Maquoketa on Oct. 17.
