Highland competed in a Class 1A district tournament at Wilton on Feb. 10.
The way to qualify for the state tournament was to place first or second at districts.
Highland had one wrestler advance to state. Senior Luke Guseman, going 2-0 at Wilton, placed 1st in the 120 lbs. bracket to punch his ticket to state.
This is the second straight year Guseman has qualified for State. The State Tournament will take place at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines from Feb. 14-17.
