So, the sheriff got a raise. Great, good for him! In this sad time of “big cities” defunding the police and disrespecting authority, lets support our local people in office! I wouldn’t and couldn’t do their job!
To me it sounded like a personal “gripe” and should have stayed that way! I voted for our county sheriff and will again!
On a very cold Monday forenoon, Jan. 10, my neighbor collapsed at the end of his driveway. Several people stopped to help and called 911. A deputy was the first on the scene and before the First Responders of the ambulance. This deputy was very helpful and professional and after the ambulance headed for the hospital, he talked with my neighbor’s wife to make sure she was OK and had a way to the hospital. I don’t know his name, but he was very nice and personable and I wish to thank him!
We all need to help each other and lift each other up instead of tear down.
Let there be “Peace on Earth” and let it begin with me! (and you! All of us!)
