The Panthers were nearly perfect in the first quarter of a 63-25 win over Morning Star Academy on Tuesday, January 11. 

Jackson Gehman scored 13 points over the first eight minutes as Pathway opened the game with a 25-0 lead. The lead grew to 37-4 by halftime as the Panthers cruised to a seventh straight victory. 

Gehman finished with a team-high 17 points. Lucas Yutzy and Blayde Lybarger scored 14 a piece. Tanner Miller put in 10 points, and Micah Hostetler scored four, while Asher Stutzman and Preston Yutzy each had a basket to complete the scoring.

Lybarger pulled down 17 rebounds and Yutzy grabbed 12. Gehman dished out six assists and had five steals. 

Pathway improved to 7-1 in conference play and 9-4 overall.

PCS 62, Unity 42

Blayde Lybarger was one of four players in double figures for  Pathway Christian in a 64-42 win over the Unity Knights on Monday, January 10. 

Lybarger had 17 points and seven rebounds as the Panthers improved their record to 6-1 in the Northern Illinois Christian Conference.

Pathway led 19-8 after a quarter and turned up the pressure on defense in the second period to take a 38-13 lead into halftime.  

Tanner Miller scored 15 and dished out five assists, while Lybarger had four steals and three assists. Lucas Yutzy scored 12 points and handed out three assists. 

Jackson Gehman scored 11 points, grabbed nine rebounds, handed out five assists, and had seven steals in a strong all around game.  Micah Hostetler scored four points and Preston Yutzy hit a three to round out the Panther scoring.
