Mid-Prairie went on the road to battle the Tipton Tigers on April 23.
Going to penatly kicks, the Golden Hawks defeated the Tigers, 4-2.
Mid-Prairie freshman Samantha Wunderlich scored her first goal in the win. Scoring the PKs for the Golden Hawks was Elise Gingerich, Lydia Beachy, and Evangeline Marner.
Mid-Prairie goalkeeper Niva Helmuth denied three PKs and ended the game with six saves.
With this win the Hawks improve their record to 6-3.
