WASHINGTON
Following an approximately half-hour closed session Tuesday, Washington County Supervisors approved Candidate D to be the new administrator/director of the Washington County Ambulance Services Department, pending a review of resume and references and salary negotiations. If all proceeds as anticipated, the department may have a new director, only the second since its establishment, by mid-summer.
Earlier unofficial reports, following the advertising of the position, were that there had been more than four applicants.
