The Board of Directors of the Lone Tree Community School District workshop was called to order by President Sladek at 6:30 p.m., September 4, 2024, in the District Office.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Upon motion by Viers, seconded by Eden, it was
RESOLVED: to approve the September 4, 2024 workshop agenda

SUMMER 2024 PROJECTS
Discussion held on remaining 2024 summer projects budget. Board approved purchase of used 12-passenger van at August regular meeting. Other potential purchases presented. Will start 2025 summer projects planning in October or November.
REASSESSMENT
Discussion held on current reassessment handbook language, utilization of reassessments, impact of potential changes, and challenges.
GRADUATION
Discussion held on date and time for graduation ceremony.
ROUTE BUS DRIVER
Discussion held on compensating current contracted route drivers an afternoon route differential due to consolidation of three afternoon routes to two until a third driver is hired. Board will consider temporary pay differential at September regular meeting.
MASTER SERVICE AGREEMENT (MSA) – SHIVE-HATTERY
Ethan Bachinski, Mechanical Engineer with Shive-Hattery, was in attendance as the Board reviewed the proposed Master Service Agreement (MSA).
DISTRICT GOALS
Discussion held 2024-2025 District Goals in areas of climate and culture, school finance, and learning.
POLICY PRIMER VOL. 32 #4
Board reviewed policy primer updates in preparation for first reading at September regular meeting.
200 SERIES: BOARD OF DIRECTORS (210.1-210.9) (FIRST READING)
Board reviewed policy 200 Series: Board of Directors in preparation for first reading at September regular meeting.
SWOT ANALYSIS
Discussion held on Board directed SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis. Board provided comments and considerations in the areas of District strengths and weaknesses.
