VFW and Auxiliary to Post No. 6414 in Riverside hosted a Quilts of Valor presentation on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the VFW Post. Recipients receiving their quilt were Rob Weber, Riverside, Frank Colbert, Sigourney, Bret Frank, Riverside, David “Luke” Frank, Riverside, and Paul Miller, Ainsworth. A sincere thank you to these veterans for their service to our country. Congratulations for receiving this special recognition.
The Quilts of Valor Foundation, a non-profit organization, has a mission to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing quilts. Presenters were Linda Lane and Bonnie Barnhart of Hearts & Hands Quilters, Sigourney, who represent the Quilts of Valor and sewed and quilted the five beautiful quilts presented. The VFW comrades and Auxiliary members thank them for their dedication to this mission.
