Kenton Jay Slaubaugh, 63, Lawrence, Kansas, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, at his home.
He was born April 7, 1960, in Iowa City, the son of Marvin and Grace (Miller) Slaubaugh.
In 1982 he earned a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and computer sciences from the University of Iowa.
He worked for more than 30 years as a software developer and business intelligence professional, most recently for the Long-Term Care Division of North American Life and Health, a General Electric Company, as a Senior Business Analyst.
Kenton was preceded in death by his father; and his sister: Mary Catherine Murray.
Survivors include his mother: Grace Slaubaugh of Kalona; his aunts: Kathryn Slaubaugh and Helen Lindstrom both of Wellman, and Mary Ellen (Ralph) Lichty of Goshen, Indiana; his uncles: Maurice (Susan) Miller of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and John (Rachel) Miller of Lawrence, Kansas; his brother-in-law: Don Murray of Parnell; and nephews and cousins.
Honoring Kenton’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
