Session/Retreat
Monday – June 24, 2024
1:00 p.m. – Ainsworth
Fire Station
The retreat was called to order at 1:07 p.m. by President Nate Robinson.
Roll call was taken with Joslin Schott, Dan Ruth, Rachel Longbine, John O’Leary, Karen Fink, Monica Jepson and Nate Robinson present. Also in attendance were Ken Crawford, Superintendent and Sue Rich, Board Secretary.
Longbine made a motion to approve the agenda, as presented. Seconded by Ruth.
Motion carried 7-0
Mr Crawford gave an introduction and handed out a packet of information.
Review of previous years board goals and progress were discussed. New goals for 2024-25 were discussed.
Larry Sigel from Iowa School Finance Information Services joined via Zoom to go over school finance and give a financial overview of the District.
Jane O’Leary went over the elementary data report including ISASP test scores, iReady, FAST data, end of year survey and conditions of learning.
Bill Zywiec went over the secondary conditions of learning and ISASP data.
Longbine made a motion to adjourn the work session/retreat. Seconded by Jepson.
Motion carried 7-0
The board retreat ended at 4:17 p.m.
