NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED SALE OF REAL ESTATE
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Kalona, Iowa will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m., September 16th, 2024, at City Hall, 511 C Avenue, Kalona, Iowa on the proposal to sell and convey the real estate locally known as:
209 5th Street, Kalona, Iowa, 52247
Tax Description - 02 02 OP S 36 FT LOT 1 &
Assessor’s Parcel ID #: 03-07-383-007
with any easements and appurtenant servient estates, but subject to the following: subject to procedures for sale of publicly owned real estate set forth at Iowa Code Section 364.7.
Said proposed sale is set for Public Hearing as proposed in a certain Offer to Purchase from Solidam Petram LLC of 818 5th Street, Kalona, Iowa 52247. Copy of the Offer is on file in the Office of City Clerk, City Hall, 511 C Avenue, Kalona, Iowa.
At this public hearing, the City Council of the City of Kalona will consider comment on adopting a resolution authorizing the sale of said property at 209 5th Street, Kalona, Iowa, 52247. Council will allow statements and questions supportive for, or in opposition to the Sale, as well as alternative proposals, at that time, prior to final determination of whether to proceed with the sale to Solidam Petram LLC.
