Frances Musser, 90, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at Windmill Manor in Coralville. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, from 4-7 p.m., at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Lone Tree. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery. Following the committal service at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Lone Tree American Legion. Frances Dianna Musser was born March 23, 1933, in Lone Tree, the daughter of Shafter and Mary (Mincer) Walker. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Musser on April 18, 1956 in Lone Tree. Frances was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking and crocheting. Most of all, she loved being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her children: Theresa (Ron) Sexton of Riverside, Janet (Doug) Yoder of Kalona, Kenneth (Tammy) Musser of Iowa City, Steve (Marcy) Musser of Riverside and Diana (Jeff) Huff of Riverside; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and her sister: Mildred Hora.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter: Donna Collier; grandson: Anthony Sexton; brother: Mearle Walker; and sister: Rubye Walker.
