After a weather-related cancellation last year, the Kalona and Mennonite Historical Societies’ Cemetery Walk returned on a warm, sunny Saturday, Aug. 24 at Sharon Hill Cemetery. Volunteers provided sweet treats and guided the tour to the graves of John Henry Hochstetler, Simon Mullet, Ruth Fisher, Bart and Mary Yotty, and Rollin Peterseim, where their descendants portrayed them and told their stories.
