Caller reports a car has been parking in the Highland Elementary parking lot in front of a no parking sign. Officer responded and spoke with the registered owner Vehicle is parked on school property, so there is no violation, but the owner is going to move it anyway.
Caller in the 1100 block of E Avenue, Kalona, reports her ex-husband has her vehicle and won’t return it. Officer responded and spoke to the caller. According to the court order, the husband is able to legally have possession of the vehicle.
Caller in the 400 block of C Avenue, Kalona, reports the possible violation of a no-contact order. Officer spoke with the caller. No violation per the court order.
Caller in the 1100 block of Redwood Avenue, Riverside, requests a welfare check on their son after not being able to make contact with them by phone. Officer responded. Nobody would come to the door.
