Hills Bank donates nearly $7000 to local schools

This fall, Hills Bank donated $6,986.71 to Highland Community School District, Mid-Prairie Community School District, Lone Tree Community School District, and Hillcrest Academy as part of the Classroom Cash® program.

Classroom Cash® empowers customers to earn money for the Highland CSD, Hillcrest Academy, Lone Tree CSD or Mid-Prairie CSD each time they make a purchase with their Hills Bank debit cards.

Since the program began in 2004, $40,193.32 has been donated to the Highland CSD, $28,558.86 has been donated to the Hillcrest Academy, $22,202.54 has been donated to the Lone Tree CSD $131,598.09 has been donated to the Mid-Prairie CSD, and over $1.44 million has been earned for all schools in the program. These funds are used to support programs and services that enhance student educational experiences in the local area.

For Hills Bank customers who would like to participate in the program, if they already have a Hills Bank debit card, they need simply fill out an application at www.HillsBank.com/ClassroomCash or visit any Hills Bank location. They can even show their school pride by customizing their debit cards with a background from the bank’s gallery at www.HillsBank.com/PicturePerfect.

For those who are not Hills Bank customers but wish to earn Classroom Cash, they can visit a Hills Bank location and apply for a checking account with a Hills Bank debit card or click the chat bubble on hillsbank.com to chat with one of the bank’s Digital Bankers and open a checking account online.
