Donna Jean (Grimm) Swartzendruber, 77, of Lander, Wyoming, passed into heaven Oct. 25, 2021, after a short illness. A memorial service has been planned in Billings, Montana. A local celebration of life will be Dec. 4, 2021, 11 a.m. at the Full Gospel Revival Center, Kalona, Iowa.

Donna Grimm Swartzendruber was born Oct. 1, 1944, the daughter of Ernest and Ferne (Wheatcraft) Grimm. She was joined in marriage to Larry Joe Swartzendruber on July 6, 1968.

Donna was very athletic and enjoyed playing sports in high school, especially basketball. Donna was fond of horses and enjoyed riding them while living in Colorado. She loved communicating with her family and many friends that she had made over the years. She was quick to make friends and never knew a stranger.

Surviving are her husband: Larry of Lander, Wyoming; their children: Kay (Thomas) Agner of Billings, Montana and Kevin (Christine) Swartzendruber of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren: Ben Irwin and Emily Swartzendruber; a sister: Shirley (John) Helmuth of Kalona; two brothers: Richard (Pam) Grimm of Wellman and Dennis (Mary) Grimm of Kalona; and sister-in-law: Sharon Grimm of Amana; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother: Shirley; sister: Connie (Grimm) Barthelman; and two brothers: Robert Grimm and Charles Grimm.
