Donna Hawthorn, 78, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023, at home in Cedar Rapids. No services are planned. The family is being cared for by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Donna was born Jan.17, 1945, the daughter of Harold and Margaret Hawthorn, in Iowa City. Donna enjoyed reading, watching movies, and spending time with her cats. In her early years she loved to go out dancing.
She is survived by her siblings: Patricia Huff and Charles (Marilyn) Hawthorn; nephews: Jeff (Diana) Huff and Charles (Jill Welter) Huff; niece: Melissa (Steve Silver) Hawthorn; and great niece: Mia Silver.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
