Residents of Atrium Village in Hills enjoyed a special treat on Monday, Feb. 12: a performance by the Iowa City Musical Comedy Troupe. The group brought flash and dazzle to the senior living and nursing care facility in honor of Marti Gras, celebrated on Feb. 13. Singing, dancing, the crowning of a king, and the distribution of gold coins delighted viewers; a plastic birthday cake made an appearance in recognition of those with February birthdays, of which, ironically, there were none among those in attendance. The playful performance brought smiles to all and was a delightful start to the week.
