The Board of Directors of the Lone Tree Community School District board workshop meeting was called to order by Vice President Magruder at 6:00 p.m., September 2, 2026, in the Library.

Old Business
2002 Roof: Superintendent Hotz reviewed two Master Service Agreements with Shive-Hattery. The first agreement addresses the replacement of the 2002 roof, while the second establishes the implementation of a comprehensive roof management system.
HVAC & Bond Updates: Superintendent Hotz presented the Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) interview presentation. This overview covered the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, interview steps, and management fees. Four companies submitted proposals: City Construction, Miron Construction, Merit Construction, and DCI Group. The RFP bid details are available on the district website under the “District” tab. Project information will be rolled out to the public in the coming weeks.
New Business
Unspent Authorized Budget & Solvency Ratio: Superintendent Hotz reviewed and discussed the district’s unspent authorized budget (UAB) and solvency ratio. The board also covered new legislation, school spending authority, and the FY25 carryover, as well as categorical funds and relevant board policies.
