Highland’s Sienna Bell was named third-team all-state by the Iowa Girls’ Coaches Association for her performance in the 2026 season.
Bell was also named to the 1A all-district team by the IGCA, while Mid-Prairie’s Brooks Weber was named first-team all-district and Hillcrest’s Rowan Miller were named second-team all-district by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Bell led the Huskies among qualified hitters with a .538 on-base percentage, allowing the freshman slapper to score 24 runs on the year, including the game-winning run in the Huskies’ walk-off win over Lone Tree in late June.
Weber led Mid-Prairie in hits, home runs, RBIs, batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage at the plate. On the mound, he was the Golden Hawks’ ace, leading the team in strikeouts, ERA and WHIP.
Miller led the Ravens in several categories as well, including hits, home runs, stolen bases, batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and ERA while battling a back injury for most of the season.
The nods were Bell’s first all-state and all-district selection. This year marked the second all-district nod for both Miller and Weber.
