Wellman held their Light the Night event on Saturday, Dec. 10.
Kids enjoyed meeting Santa inside a shelter provided by Premier Portable Buildings, and every kid received a book from the Wellman-Scofield Public Library.
The library’s Carrie Geno also took photos that families can download free on the library’s website.
At 5 p.m. on the dot, Wellman’s downtown Christmas tree was lit up for the season.
