Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Washington County, Iowa, will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington County Courthouse, 222 West Main Street, Washington, Iowa, regarding proposed Washington County Ordinance 24-04. Proposed Ordinance 24-04 is being considered for the purpose of regulating the placement of Wind Energy Conversion Systems (WECS) on property located in the unincorporated areas of Washington County. Copies of the full text of proposed Ordinance 24-04 are available for public review at the Washington County Auditor’s Office during weekday hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. until Monday, November 18, 2024. All individuals interested in this matter may appear at said hearing and provide input and/or present evidence for, or against, proposed Ordinance 24-04. Written evidence concerning the matter may be delivered to the Auditor’s Office no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024.
