In this primary election, we are given two distinct choices. On the one hand is self-proclaimed moderate mayor of Washington Jaron Rosien (he was a Democrat until he recently switched to a Republican on Jan. 26 of 2022); on the other side is pro-family, pro-biblical marriage, and pro-life Heather Hora.
Heather, a wife and mother of three, has been an active advocate for the agriculture community, specifically Iowa Pork Producers. Her husband Kurt is a former president of the Iowa Corn Growers Association.
A true conservative, Heather will fight to defend the innocent unborn. She has and will continue to uphold biblical marriage between one man and one woman while her opponent Rosien is a homosexual with a male partner. In addition, she will prioritize parental rights in public schools and advocate for transparency from school boards and administrators. Likewise, she will continue the fight to reduce tax burden and protect the Iowa family farm.
It is noteworthy that our well-beloved Governor Kim Reynolds, who has only once before endorsed a candidate in a primary, has given her endorsement to Heather Hora. Obviously, Governor Reynolds sees the urgency of this race and so should we! It is time for Iowans to stand up and vote for the right. If we want America to return to her former greatness, we must elect candidates who will return to biblical values and fight against the moral decay in our culture.
