Notice is hereby given that the Land Use and Planning Commission for Washington County, Iowa will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the 2nd Floor Courtroom in the Washington County Courthouse, located at 222 W Main Street, Washington, Iowa. The purpose of this hearing is to consider an application for approval of a Final Plat for the subdivision of an existing tract in the unincorporated area of Washington County. The application for the twenty-four residential lot subdivision was submitted by Todd and Debra Hahn, 3003 Timberline Dr, Riverside, IA 52327. The new lots are located on 135th Street, approximately six-tenths of a mile West of Hwy 218.
The legal description is “TIMBERLINE ESTATES PART III
Timberline Estates Part III is Auditor’s Parcel “B” as is recorded in Book 11 on page 100 and Auditor Parcel H as is recorded in Book 27 on page 237 in the office of the Washington County Recorder all located in the Northeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 20, Township 77 North, Range 6 West of the 5th P.M., Washington County, Iowa, in all containing 36.54 acres of which 0.91 acre is existing county road right of way and an additional 0.47 acre to be dedicated as right of way for 135th Street and being subject to all easements and restrictions of record.”
All persons interested in this application may appear at said hearing and present evidence for or against the application for approval of the final plat. Written evidence concerning the application may be delivered to the Subdivision Coordinator in the County Auditor’s Office Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., until March 25, 2025 (THE DATE OF THE HEARING).
