Parkview Manor in Wellman was transported back to the 1950’s on Friday, Aug. 9, complete with carhop meals, poodle skirts, and fuzzy dice. The candy-colored classic cars seemed to have attracted Elvis (Junior Talley), who performed for residents and guests; trophies and medals were awarded to vehicles in three categories. Proceeds from drinks sold went to the Mid-Prairie School District; the event was held in conjunction with a school supply drive.
