All members of the Kalona Optimist are encouraged to attend the Membership meeting on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Elements Room of the Kalona YMCA/Community Center.
Members are asked to wear masks for this meeting that will be the first for new president Carl Poe, who is recovering from a kidney transplant.
Plans for the 2021-22 Optimist year will be announced and discussed. Members are also encouraged to bring prospective members.
The meal will be catered by Ila (Henry) Miller. Cost will be $10.
