The Mid-Prairie High School band made its season debut in front of an appreciative crowd during halftime of the Golden Hawks first football game on August 28 in Wellman.
The Mid-Prairie band performed Chicago the rock band hits “Make Me Smile” and “Saturday in the Park” during its halftime show. It also performed the “Star-Spangled Banner” prior to the game.
The band will continue its halftime performances during the football season.
