Lone Tree Fire & Rescue Foundation receives grant for new pumper/tanker

Lone Tree Fire & Rescue Foundation Inc received a $2,000 grant for the new pumper/tanker.  The grant is provided through Farm Credit Services of America’s (FCSAmerica) Working Here Fund.

The Working Here Fund Grant was used to aid in the purchase of a pumper/tanker for the Lone Tree Fire and Rescue Foundation. The updated equipment will allow firefighters to respond to emergencies with the most up to date equipment to help ensure the best opportunity for a safe outcome during emergency response.

“We understand the importance of keeping our communities safe and appreciate the efforts of the Lone Tree Fire & Rescue Foundation Inc.,” said Kye Kolpin, regional vice president of retail operations at FCSAmerica’s Cedar Rapids office.

Lone Tree Fire & Rescue Foundation Inc is one of 53 organizations to receive a Working Here Fund grant in the first quarter of 2022.  FCSAmerica awarded $98,010 during the latest grant cycle ending March 31, 2022.

The Lone Tree Fire & Rescue Foundation Inc provides emergency, medical, and fire assistance to citizens of Lone Tree and the surrounding townships.
