Jerry Hochstedler, 76, passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, in Portland, Oregon. He was surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 28, 1945, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Robert and Mary Hochstedler.
He graduated from City High in 1965. He served in the U.S. Navy. He married Judy Bice on May 20, 1972.
He is survived by his children: Samantha (Steve) McCaskey, Stefanie (Roger) Whitehead and Neil (Jenn) Hochstedler; and siblings: Bonnie (Donnie) Yeggy; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Judy.
A private service will be held at the Willamette National Cemetery at a later date.
