Jeremy Jonas Beachy of St. Ansgar, Iowa was born May 20, 2003, to Norman and Marilyn Beachy at Kalona, Iowa. He passed away May 13, 2025, at the University Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 21 years after a 4 year battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Jeremy accepted Christ as his Savior and was a part of the Cornerstone Christian Church.
He is survived by his parents: Norman and Marilyn Beachy; six brothers and two sisters: Rodney Beachy of St. Ansgar, Mervin (Cherlyn) Beachy and family of Zumbrota, Minn.; Rhonda (Denny) Lehman and family of Rozet, Wyoming, Loran (Mary Ann) Beachy and family of Antigo, Wisconsin, Jenette (Joel) Bear and family of Hopewell, Ohio, Roger Beachy of St. Ansgar; Sanford Beachy and Gareth Beachy at home; maternal grandfather: Earl Amstutz; five nieces and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by a stillborn brother: Gabriel; his paternal grandparents: Jonas and Magdalena Beachy; and his maternal grandmother: Rosina (Earl) Amstutz.
The Beachy family gives heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kindness on this journey with Jeremy’s health. Thank-you for the prayers, mail, help, flowers, food, calls, and other thoughtfulness. It was much appreciated. God bless each of you!
