It is with great pride that Kaylee, Madison and Skyler Kruse announce the upcoming wedding of their mother, Lindsey Kruse, to Trey Forbes, all of Lone Tree, Iowa.
Trey and Lindsey are both graduates of Lone Tree High School. Trey attended Western Illinois University and earned a degree in Agricultural Science. Trey currently works for Hillyer Agriservice in West Liberty and farms with his family in rural Lone Tree.
Lindsey attended Kirkwood Community College and currently works as a paraprofessional for the West Liberty Elementary School. Together, they run a local farmers market, “Forbes Farm Fresh,” of garden produce, fall pumpkins and baked goods.
Trey and Lindsey will become Mr. and Mrs. Forbes on September 11, 2021, in a private ceremony on their property near Cone Marsh, followed by a wedding reception at the family farm in Lone Tree.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Ann Kregel and Neil and Jill Forbes, all of Lone Tree. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Lavon and Gordon Kregel formerly of Postville, Iowa, and the late Carolyn and Walter Giese formerly of Morning Sun, Iowa. The groom is the grandson of Betty Forbes and the late Gerald Forbes, and Cynnie and Larry Green, all of Lone Tree.
