When my wife, Joan, and I, remodeled the Old Community Building in Riverside to be leased as a Coffee House, we made a commitment to match donated funds for cancer research. The objective was to get other Coffee Houses, nationwide, to do the same.
We would like to thank those that placed money into the donation container-as of April 1, 2022, $289.00. We matched that with a $600.00 donation to the Mayo Clinic for cancer research. Our donation was matched by a Mayo donor for a total of $1,200.
The donation was given in memory of Dean Thomann, Riverside, and in honor of Betty Forbes, Lone Tree.
We will do the same in this coming year, also. Thanks to all.
John and Joan Sojka
