NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE LONE TREE
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment of the City of Lone Tree, Iowa, will hold a Public Hearing on the 28th day of May, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 123 N DeVoe Street, Lone Tree, Iowa, at which time the Board of Adjustment will act on the following: Application is hereby made by Todd Comer, 200 S DeVoe Street, Lone Tree, IA 52755. Application is for a special exception or variance from the requirements of the Lone Tree Code of Ordinances, specifically Section 165.6A & 165.6B2 to permit addition on garage moving the garage closer to the lot line on north property line.
The variance/special exception is requested to allow the garage addition to be built 18’ off the lot line, on the East Elm Street side, instead of the required 25’.
The purpose of the proposed use or improvement and necessity for the special exception/variance is to build an addition on the garage.
Any persons interested may appear at said meeting of the Board of Adjustment and present evidence for or against the requested variance/special exception. Written comments may be sent to City of Lone Tree Board of Adjustment, PO Box 337, Lone Tree, Iowa 52755.
