After 17 years, the music festival Camp Euforia at Jerry’s Farm in Lone Tree held its final encore from Thursday, July 14 to Saturday, July 16. The festival was set to have its last round in 2020, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed.
Bands from Heatbox, Public Property, Chicago Afrobeat Project, and Cornmeal made the event’s lineup. One of the final performances of the festival was given by Euforquestra, the headlining band that originally kicked off the event back in 2004.
Besides the music, there were food/merchandise vendors scattered about the grounds. On Friday, guests were encouraged to bring their yoga mats to the main stage to participate in some relaxing yoga taught by Kirk Hansen. The festival wasn’t just for adults either, kids were welcomed and celebrated with face painting, temporary tattoos, and giant bubbles.
Camp Euforia has brought people from across the country to join in music and dance. Although it was the final year of the festival, guests, performers, and organizers all made sure it was a final year to remember.
