The Lone Tree school board welcomed new member Joe Williams at a brief meeting Nov. 19.
Williams replaced Sheila Burr on the board. Burr, who has served on the Lone Tree board for 12 years, made the motion to adjourn the meeting where the previous board accepted the election results.
“It has been an honor,” Burr said. “We have a great school here, a great community.”
After the first meeting was adjourned, Williams was sworn in along with Joel Yedlik who was re-elected in the election earlier this month.
Christina Magruder was re-elected president and Mike Waldschmidt was elected vice president.
