We will be hosting our 4th Annual Gingerbread contest a little differently this year. We are asking families to create their gingerbread house with only edible material. Send us a picture of your creation for us to post of social media between Thanksgiving and Dec.18. A winner will be announced on Dec. 22. Gingerbread houses can be enjoyed at home, and possibly eaten too!
Mrs. Claus will make a short visit to the library on Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. until noon. Youngsters may bring their letter to Santa with a clearly printed name and address to give to Mrs. Claus. She will have a special treat to give the children.
Since this is a short week we are highlighting a couple of books you might enjoy!
“The Wonder Boy of Whistle Stop” by Fannie Flagg; “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Deep End” by Jeff Kinney; and “The Berenstain Bears meet Santa Bear” by Stan & Jan Berenstain.
