In the season opener for both teams, Highland hosted Mid-Prairie on March 26.
In a close cold windy game it was the Golden Hawks who took the victory over the Huskies, 2-1.
Highland scored first, off the foot of Logan McFarland, but the Hawks scored the next two goals, one in the first half and another in the second half to win the game.
Scoring those goals for Mid-Prairie was Daniel Rodgers and Joe Hall.
