The second COVID_19 vaccination clinic in Washington County is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, February 22 at the Washington YMCA, 520 W. 5th Street, Washington.
The clinic is only for senior age 65 and older. The county did get its regular allotment on Feb. 12. About 350 vaccinations will be given this time .
To schedule an appointment, call 319-653-3030 between 9 a.m. and noon. Appointments will not be taken before that time, If you do not get through, call back. Voicemails will not be returned and appointments cannot be scheduled via email or Facebook.
Masks are required at the clinic. Appointees are asked to dress in layers so an arm will be accessible. The vaccine is free, however, please bring your Medicare card with you. Traffic will be monitored at the venue, and residents are asked not arrive more than 30 minutes prior to an appointment to ease traffic congestion.
Public Health will put out information when all clinic slots are full and information about the next available clinic time.
People have asked for a signup option. The department is working on that capability and hopes to have it available for the next clinic.
