Sandra Kay Langdon was born Oct. 13, 1955, in Marengo, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin and Carolyn (Whaley) Kinzenbaw. She graduated from English Valley High School. Sandra worked as a waitress at the Chat and Chew in Wellman for many years.
She enjoyed watching movies, reading, gambling, going to garage sales, making jewelry, and spending time with her dog Pepper.
Sandra died on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at the Washington County Hospital in Washington following a long illness at the age of 64 years.
Sandra is survived by a daughter: Jody (Jay) Wagner of New London; a son: Jeremy (Jamie) Kinzenbaw of Washington; seven grandchildren: Mikayla, Zachary, Jayden and Kylie Wagner, Jace and Jordyn Kinzenbaw, and Karralyn Langdon; two stepgrandchildren: Rachel and Paul; two great-grandchildren: Tatum and Ivy; and eight siblings: Susan, Teresa, Sharon, Kenneth, Michael, Kristen, Wendy and Eric.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents: Kenneth and Helen Kinzenbaw; and a son: Jamie Langdon.
Although there will be no service per her wishes, the family will be holding a Celebration of Life gathering at the Goodwin Senior Center in Wellman on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 from 1-4 p.m.
