On Wednesday, July 12, the Kalona Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed Jessica Yoder and Sarah Bigley, a realtor team with Lepic-Kroeger Realty.  The pair, both Wellman residents, has been serving the area together for the last seven years, although they both have been realtors far longer.  Yoder has been licensed and selling here in her home community for 21 years, and Bigley for 10 years.

Although their office is in Iowa City, Yoder and Bigley have long been active in the local community, supporting organizations such as the YMCA and Feed the Kids Mid-Prairie.  They frequently sponsor free skates at the Wellman Skating Rink and Wellman’s 4th of July parade.  

They were motivated to join the Kalona Chamber because they wanted to “branch out” and find “a new avenue to see how we can help,” Bigley said.  They are eager to not only be members, but also be involved through committee work, which Chamber Director Tonia Poole is especially excited about.

Yoder and Bigley make it a priority to build relationships in the communities in which they live and work.

“We generally work with our clients, friends, and family [who] all live around here, [and] we want to support those who are supporting and growing this area.  We want to be there for our clients, not just in real estate, but in helping with the events that they can go to that make this area great,” Bigley said.
