Pleasantview is currently experiencing residents who have tested positive for COVID-19, said Executive Director Jeffery K. Schmidt in a press release on Monday, Nov. 23.
Schmidt said the home’s first positive cases occurred on Nov. 9. All residents who test positive are being transferred to and cared for within an isolation unit on the third floor of the “Old Glory” section of the facility.
Pleasantview is in communication with the Iowa Department of Public Health and other state agencies. Families are receiving frequent updates via individual and family forum methods.
