This week’s PAWS & More animal shelter pet of the week is Nashville, an adult male treeing walker coonhound/vizsla mix who is described as a “free spirit.” Intelligent, independent, confident and clever, he prefers making his own decisions but will listen to you if you make a good case. We’re partners in this adventure. Treat me like one and we’ll both live happily ever after. Nashville would be good in a home with other dogs but prefers a home with no cats. He is currently living in foster care. For more information on this animal, contact washingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.com or call 319-653-6713.
The shelter is currently closed to the public but still doing adoptions. Visit pawsandmorewashington.org to see all the animals up for adoption. In-person appointments can be arranged by calling 319-653-6713.
