A tour of the new Washington County Communications Center in Washington will be the program for the Kalona Optimist on Thursday, Sept. 3, according to program chairman Roger Weber.
The Optimist will meet at the Washington Pizza Ranch for their meal, then will go to the Communications Center on Lexington Boulevard. Sheriff Jared Schneider will assist in conducting the tour and giving the program.
