New interactive displays ready at Marr Park

Posted

The Washington County Conservation Board announced last week that phase one of the Tinnes Exhibit Hall renovation in the Conservation Education Center at Marr Park has been installed.

The new interactive displays include three tabletop displays: A whiteboard, a landscape with figurines and a game on invasive species.

Three wall displays encourage visitors to learn about life in an ant colony, be puzzled about local fish and compete in a predator-prey game.

Conservation Board events and other news will be spiced up when they are posted on a normal-sized “dead tree.”

More interactive displays will be coming.
