On April 17, Nolte, Cornman & Johnson P.C. released an audit report on Mid-Prairie Community School District.
The district’s revenues totaled $21,167,234 for the year ended June 30, 2018, a 3.55% increase from the prior year.
Revenues included $6,251,714 in property tax, $1,201,778 in income surtax, $1,171,059 in statewide sales, services and use tax, charges for service of $3,261,834, operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $1,937,356, unrestricted state grants of $7,201,872, unrestricted interest of $31,836 and other general revenues of $109,785.
Expenses for district operations totaled $20,094,256, a 7.92% increase from the prior year.
Expenses also included $7,037,112 for regular instruction, $2,760,077 for other instruction, and $2,140,027 for administration support services.
