Enrollment for 2021-2022 preschool is currently happening at Mid-Prairie Community School District Preschools from Feb. 1 to March 15, 2021.

Please complete the online enrollment form on the MPCSD website and submit if you have a child whom you are enrolling for the four-year-old preschool program (student turns four on or before September 15, 2020) or the five-year-old alternative kindergarten program (student turns five on or before September 15, 2021).

Anyone interested in our three-year-old preschool program will complete a different enrollment form at a time to be announced later.

By filling out this form and submitting it, you reserve a spot at Mid-Prairie West Elementary in Wellman. Your registration will not be complete until you finalize it during e-registration prior to the beginning of school. You will receive further notifications about e-registration in Summer 2021.

Please fill out the form completely. District transportation is only provided to students who attend a registered daycare within the Mid-Prairie Community School District. The district does not provide transportation to all students.

There is no cost for four-year-old preschool OR five-year-old alternative kindergarten.

Placement of students will be at Mid-Prairie West Elementary in Wellman, which is where all preschool students in MPCSD attend preschool. Placement of students is done to ensure a balance of numbers of students in all preschool sessions.

Requests are not taken for placement decisions such as morning or afternoon. Preschool sessions in the morning are from 8:15-11:15 a.m. and in the afternoon are from 12:15-3:15 p.m.

Four-year-old preschool students attend on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. There is no preschool for four-year-olds on Wednesdays. Alternative kindergarten students will attend on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (no Wednesday classes) and alternative kindergarten is a full day program for 2021-2022 from 8:15 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.

Schedules are subject to change and a start date will be determined at a later point in time.
