Mid-Prairie teachers, administrators, and staff made their official return to campus on Friday, August 18 at the all-district meeting at Mid-Prairie High School. After playing a version of Family Feud led by Superintendent Brian Stone, during which it was revealed that students’ favorite school lunch is cheese sticks, staff were recognized for years of service.
Those recognized included:
45 years: Cindy Malichky
35 years: Karen Bender
30 Years: Jeff Murphy and Cindy Duwa
25 Years: David Kunz, Renee Fisher, Pete Cavanagh, Jessica Jones, and Erin Cavanagh
20 Years: Sara Puttmann, Traci Zahradnek, Paula Yoder, and Megan Neal
15 Years: Mo Gingerich, Tonya Hovey, Emily Pennington, and Jaynie Bontrager
10 Years: Anita Beachy Miller, Kelby Bender, Mackenzie Kos, Steve Mayer, Audra Hershberger, Molly Steinbrech, Carrie Schweitzer, Elena Beachy, Lisa Steckly, and Ericha TeBockhorst
5 Years: Sarah Ihde, Cherie Miller, Melanie Saresky, Shawna Sieren, Kim Troyer, Marci Stanfield, Amanda Smith, Ron Swartzendruber, Jeremiah Lassy and Mark English
Following the awards, the full staff gathered in the gym for their official photo, and then returned to the cafetorium for lunch, provided by Hills Bank.
