The Golden Hawks are headed back to Fort Dodge in the hopes of a third straight title in Class 2A.
On Thursday in Williamsburg the Golden Hawks were second to Class 2A No. 2 Williamsburg.
Marie Hostetler took first place in 17:51, running a new season best and tying the second fastest run of her high school career.
Mitzi Evans was 6th in 19:45, Abbagail Evans 10th in 20:05, Ana Fleming 14th in 20:11, Angelina Evans 16th in 20:25, Sydney Yoder 17th in 20:34 and Jaden Yoder 20th in 21:11.
For scoring, Mid-Prairie was at 43 points to Williamsburg's 37. Davis County was third with 97.
