Kalona, Richmond
The Richmond AmVets Post No. 107 will host three services on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27.
The first service will be at Sharon Hills Cemetery in Kalona at 10:15 a.m.
That will be followed by a service at the Catholic cemetery in Richmond at 11 a.m.
A service at the public cemetery in Richmond will immediately follow the 11 a.m. service.
Wellman
The Charles Polton American Legion Post No. 427 in Wellman will host a service at the Wellman Cemetery beginning at 9 a.m., Monday.
The Mid-Prairie High School band will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
Post Comdr. Charles Singleman will give the address, and the Wellman American Legion Auxiliary will decorate the cenotaph.
