Caller in the 1100 block of 135th Street, Wellman, reports a vehicle trespassed and tore up some property. Officer spoke with the subject and will stop back tomorrow for some further information.
Caller in Kalona reports the city maintenance shop was broken into sometime earlier this week and a lawn mower and tools are missing. Officer spoke with the caller who will get a list together of items missing. Report filed.
Caller in the 200 block of A Avenue, Kalona, reports two kids on two lawn mowers driving erratically around the trailer court, not mowing, making a lot of noise. Officer responded and spoke with the subjects.
Vehicle stop at Ginkgo and 170th Street, Wellman. Austin Patrick Gelelrstedt, 25, of Keota, cited into court for driving while barred. Owner of the vehicle was contacted and advised not to let a barred driver operate her vehicle.
Caller in the 1600 block of 130th Street, Wellman, reports subjects pulling a mower behind a four-wheeler on 130th Street to Third Street in Wellman to mow lawns. Officer spoke with the parents of the kids and made them aware of the caller’s concern for the kids’ safety.
Caller in the 1800 block of 120th Street, Wellman, reports someone took the sign at the end of his drive that says private drive. Approximately a month ago someone also took a stop ahead sign from the level B road 120th and Hickory. The vehicle the caller saw today was a red pick up. Occurred within the past 15 minutes. Officer was advised of the complaint and will check the area. County engineer’s office was also advised.
Caller requests a welfare check on her sister in Wellman. Officer responded. Everyone at the residence was intoxicated. Everything was fine.
